Membership Categories

The HICF will accommodate a diverse set of stakeholders who pay applicable annual dues and support the mission, vision, goals and objectives of HICF. All members are entitled and encouraged to serve on all sanctioned committees.

1.

Physicians, Nurses, and other professionals including lawyers,
accountants, religious leaders, politicians, etc.

Individual members may join HICF for a fee of J$7,000 or US$100 per year and be entitled to attend all meetings (except Board meetings and Committee meetings of the Board), access to HICF sponsored website, publications, meetings and training and enjoy all the privileges of membership including free access to Advanced Life Support training and certification when offered. Membership fee may change from time.

2.

Caribbean Health Advocates.

Citizens of the Caribbean may join the HICF for J$3,500 or US$50.00 per year and be designated a “Caribbean Health Advocate”. CHA pledge to be health promotion and disease prevention advocates for their communities and will have access to HICF sponsored website, publications, meetings and training. CHA who need cardiovascular related diagnosis and treatment will be given priority for charitable support if they are unable to pay. Membership fee may change from time.

3.

Institutional Members.

Churches, clubs, organizations, social clubs or any group may join the HICF as an institutional member for J$7,000 or US$100.00 per year. Institutional members of the HICF pledge to be health promotion and disease prevention advocates for their communities and will have access to HICF sponsored website, publications, meetings and training. Membership fee may change from time.

4.

Industry Sponsors, Foundations, Charitable Organizations, and
Philanthropists.

While any and all contributions are gratefully acknowledged and appreciated, business entities, foundations, charitable organizations and philanthropists are invited and encouraged to join the HICF as supporters in the following categories:

Title Sponsors: J$10,000,000 per year (US$143,000)

Platinum Sponsors: J$5,000,000 per year (US$70,000)

Gold Sponsors: J$3, 000,000 per year (US$43, 000)

Silver Sponsors: J$2,000,000 per year (US$29,000)

Bronze Sponsors: J$1,000,000 per year (US$14,000)

Note: In order for a member of the public who is unable to pay for the diagnosis and treatment of their heart condition to receive funds from the HICF to defray these costs, he/she must have been a dues paying member (J$3,500.00 or US$50 per year) for at least 90 days preceding the application for funds.
